The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of ACOA, gave a presentation and David Ganong, President of Ganong Bros. Ltd., gave the keynote address.

Tantramar Interactive Inc. is a web company with a difference. Rather than the standard computer science background, its founding partners brought together skills in drawing, painting, photography, communications and, yes, computers, to build a different kind of web company. As graduates of Sackville's Mount Allison University, they built a firm with a focus on clarity and usability, delivering web sites that are fast, easy to use and beautiful.

They generate business primarily through word-of-mouth, and have worked with clients as diverse as Queen's University, Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada, Colorado-based Big R Manufacturing, and Business New Brunswick.

The businesses honoured at last night's event were (in no particular order):

The Art of Success was the brainchild of ACOA Senior Communications Officer Ann Kenney.
