Saddened to post news of the death of a great Canadian artist tonight on AlexColville.ca.
It is with great pride that Tantramar Interactive Inc. announces the launch of AlexColville.ca, the first official website of Canadian artist Alex Colville. A long-time resident of Sackville and faculty member at Mount Allison University, Colville’s work is recognized internationally.
As a life-long admirer of Colville’s work, and a fellow graduate of Mount Allison, it was an honour to have been approached to take on this project, and designing a site that wouldn’t detract from it — while holding up against it — was daunting.
Tantramar Interactive is delighted to congratulate the team at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs on their recent designation as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
The design team from Tantramar Interactive presented an early mock-up of the web site design concept to the team from IUCN in October, 2007, and we’re proud to be working with the team at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs.
Tantramar Interactive Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Joggins Fossil Institute’s new web site,jogginsfossilcliffs.net.
The site, designed by Tantramar Interactive to be fast, dynamic and engaging, has been timed to launch with the beautiful new Joggins Fossil Centre in Joggins, Nova Scotia.
The site features an animated home page that mimics the effect of strata, bold use of colour and texture, and has dynamic news, an automatically-updated sitemap, keyword search capability and enhanced accessibility features.
Tantramar Interactive is pleased to announce that CREDA — based in Amherst, Nova Scotia — has launched their newly-redesigned web site.
The site features a completely new look, and a new site architecture designed to make it easier than ever for their clients to find what they’re looking for at creda.net. Usability is also enhanced through the use of you-are-here navigation that lets people know where they are on the site.
In addition to web-standards-based coding practices that make the site more search-engine-friendly and more accessible than ever, CREDA has gained the ability to easily manage the content using Adobe Contribute. They can also update the section-specific masthead photos themselves without owning, learning or using the Flash authoring tools.
